We love working on unique and unusual items, and have the hands-on experience, attention to detail, and craftsmanship skills to allow you the freedom to design a one-of-a-kind piece to fit your taste.
From concept to creation, we will collaborate with you on materials, measurements, details and style. If you have a piece you already love but wish it looked a little different, we also offer furniture style conversions!

At Restwell Upholstering, there's nothing we love more than working our upholstery magic! We specialize in creating custom-designed pieces that reflect your personal style and individual needs. From benches and ottomans to built-ins and banquettes, we collaborate with you on style conversions, frame rebuilds, and reimagining your inspiration photos.

​We have access to a wide variety of custom fabric and vinyl, as well as experience working with more unique materials such as fur, blankets/clothing, needlepoint, embroidery, and hair-on-hide. To ensure your one-of-a-kind piece is truly yours, we can also include custom offset colouring and statement designs, specialty trims, fancy buttons, and sewn-thru patterns such as flutes. Have something a little out of the ordinary? We love working on your unusual and unique pieces! Over the years we've stitched up everything from mascot heads to stuffed animals, given new life to doll carriages and horse-drawn buggies, and even upholstered a bench in a fuzzy rug (yes, really!).
