Album Cover Furniture!!

Furniture is everywhere, and when you work with it everyday you definitely start to notice it in interesting places.  Here are 10 album covers with furniture on the cover. 

1. Janis Joplin - PEARL

 The legend is seated in a Victorian style Tub chair.

2. Weezer - RADITUDE

 In this we see a living room with a chair and sofa, the sofa appears to be covered with a sheet, perhaps it is in need of reupholstering…

3. Jefferson Starship - Nuclear Furniture  

Although this one only has a wooden chair and not an upholstered piece, I included it because at Restwell we repair and reglue wooden chairs and make custom cushions for them. Also, the word Furniture is in the album name so it gets an extra point!

4. The Cranberries - ZOMBIE

This shows a simple tight seat, tight back, love seat with rope style trim.

5. Paramore - all we know is falling 

This album cover shows a tight seat, tight back red (velvet?) couch. I love the curvy arms. 

6. The Walters - GOOD COMPANY 

This shows a lovely set of Mid Century Modern Furniture. We have recovered many chairs like these, with a loose seat and loose back, these Teak chairs can be reimagined over and over with new cushions!

7. Fleetwood Mac - RUMOURS

Perhaps the most famous album on my list, has a small upholstered footstool. We do lots of these and have some for sale right now in our showroom. 

8. Austin Carson Band - Young Hearts

This one showcases a special piece that’s close to my heart. My very own Red Velvet Couch was leant out to this local Peterborough band for their album cover.

9. Crosby, Stills and Nash - CROSBY, STILLS & NASH

This album cover features a well-loved 3 seater sofa with a rolled arm. Looks like a well made piece that could use a little repair, new foam in the seats, and could be lovely again with new fabric!

10. The Rolling Stones - DIRTY WORK

This bright cover features a green box-tufted corner piece of a sectional.
